The Flatliners
Featuring Spanish Loves Songs & Western Settings
August 28th 2015 | Soda Bar
This show. This fucking show. As I write this two days later my ears are still ringing. Loud, sweaty, packed, this what’s punks all about. The crowd was so enthusiastic and physical I had a hard time shooting the Flatliners set as their fans had surrounded every inch of open stage, 3-4 people deep.
My lens kept steaming up, and getting all sorts of bodily fluids on it 🙁

Spanish Love Songs
Being familiar with Spanish Love Songs on record only this was my first time seeing them perform (outside the recording studio) Their sound and their songs were meant for this particular sort of setting. Loud, fast and heartfelt. Check these dudes out, they’re just a way cooler Joyce Manor: https://spanishlovesongs.bandcamp.com/releases
Western Settings
These guys were another first for me. Fit right in and set the tone perfectly for the rest of the night. A bit more of a throwback style of punk, these dudes started off the loud and fast theme for the rest of the night.
